As is usual at this time of year, the APS IT department will be
doing maintenance on our network and servers next week, which means
that the APS
EPICS website and mailing lists may go down or be unreliable
on and possibly for a few days after December 27th. The community
website at epics-controls.org may still
be available though, that is hosted independently by the Fritz Haber
Institute (FHI) in Germany. If you send an email to one of the mailing lists while our mailman server is down your message will be held in a queue until it comes back up, so please be patient and don't re-send it unless you get an automated reply saying that your message cannot be delivered and that your mail system has given up trying — some systems may warn you that a message has been delayed a day or two before they stop trying to deliver it. Thanks, and best wishes to all for the holiday season! - Andrew Johnson -- Complexity comes for free, Simplicity you have to work for. |
