Thanks.

I'll try to come up with something that doesn't scare people off, is
reasonably short, and still conveys the meaning. Any suggestions
anyone?

I agree that the new 'global'/'scope' stuff should wait until the
(re-)design is agreed upon and has been implemented and tested. Yet, I
would like to have the fixes and compatible extensions go into
R3.14.12. This would be mainly: (1) allow all sorts of empty lists, and
(2) move the push/pop of scopes down into the {varname=value,...} lists
(the current behaviour is very surprising IMO).

Seems I finally have to make myself comfortable with bzr & launchpad. I
suppose I have to create a branch on lp, separate out the agreeable
stuff from the msi-join branch, put them on mine, publish it and and
propose a merge. Have I got that right? Oops, never mind, I just found
the wiki page that explains everything.

What is the schedule for R3.14.12?

Cheers
Ben
