Hi Ben,
You can run the tests individually, just cd into the libCom/test/O.<arch>
directory and execute the named test program (without the .t) and you'll see
more information including the individual tests being performed and any
diagnostics that they print out. However in this case...

...that particular test takes 5 minutes to complete (literally, it contains an
epicsThreadSleep(300.0) to allow the background threads working time); are you
waiting that long?
