Hi,
During the weekend I downloaded and built the EPICS 7 tarball on my (own)
computer, KDE Neon distro, based on Ubuntu 16.04.
Compiles all fine. All new modules are there in the source tree, as
expected. All good, thanks to everybody and congratulations!
However, I had the (perhaps naïve) expectation that when I use
makeBaseApp, I would get an doc with QSRV. This was not the case.
The next try was to follow Michael's instructions from the Barcelona
meeting, to add the QSRV definitions in the Makefile. Still no luck.
After hacking a while I managed to create an IOC with QSRV, but it was not
exactly straightforward. I assume a newcomer would be confused.
I just wonder if this is the expected state? Maybe I am just missing
something obvious.
