So, to sum things up,

The fix for lp:1527636 was re-introducing lp:1580623, a fact that was noted in the former but not in the latter issue. The latter issue was also not re-opened, so that this did not get the attention it should have had.

The commit of February 2017 fixes the reintroduced bug.

When Andrew is back at work, I am sure he will take care of adding this to the appropriate "Known Issues" page.
(Lab policies to not allow any non-APS web maintainers.)

Thanks for pointing this out and for the clarification,

ELW: ==============================================================================

I have run tests for more than 24 hours and this patch looks good.

Although,
CA.Client.Exception...............................................

There is no caget core dump;  caget continues to "rock and roll"

Hi Ralph,

Michael D. suggests it was fixed via launchpad:1527636

That commit is on 3.15 branch but after R3.15.5.

Ernest is doing some tests w/ that commit added to our local 3.15.5 branch.

Cheers,
