I saw a suggestion online to create a tag pointing to the branch tip
before removing a remote branch, to keep a record of it for historical
purposes. That seems sensible to me, and would make it easy to re-create
them in the (unlikely) event that we need to. If we do that I'd be fine
with removing the {ca,core,database,libcom}/master branches.
