Subject: Launchpad Git repo cleanup

Dear colleagues,

As discussed some days ago, I have cleaned up some intermediate branches in the Launchpad Git repo of EPICS Base:

I tagged the respective last commit of each of the four historical xyz/master branches as 'end-of-xyz-master' and deleted the branches.
This means that all commits are still there and you can check out the former branch by using the tag, but the branch names have been removed so that people don't get confused.
