Hi Michael,

After moving to Base 7.0.3.1 we have not seen the crashes anymore, running since 4 days as of now. 
Before this update we saw these crashes several (up to 15) times a day. This looks good so far.

Thank you for the fix and pointing us to the right direction!

    Looks like https://github.com/epics-base/pvDataCPP/issues/70 which may be fixed in Base 7.0.3.1
