record(ai, "a b") {}
record(ai, "x.y") {}
Both result in records being created. "a b" is even accessible through CA.
"x.y" isn't. Neither is linkable.
"legal record name" reads to me like a sign over the barn door. "no
equine exit"
Still, maybe this is the time to finally get serious about defining what
a valid record name is.
