In most cases our employers run research labs or facilities and are not commercial for-profit companies, although that’s not true of everyone who works on EPICS (e.g. Osprey and CosyLab).
It may be worth my making the point that no one pays me to act as
in a maintainer role wrt. to Base, or any project. And that even
were this to happen, I will continue to maintain a separation between
Osprey work and community work. When I accept paid work to develop
features for community projects, I make clear to Osprey customers
that there is no guarantee when, or if, these code changes will be
accepted into community repositories.

Currently the areaDetector documentation is built as a Travis job each time there is a commit to the top-level areaDetector/areaDetector repository. Is this about to stop working, and if so what is the best alternative?
