18+ years after writing it I have finally documented and published the latest version my CA Client Monitor program on GitHub, it can now be found at https://github.com/anjohnson/cacm. This is a somewhat more flexible equivalent to Ken Evans' caSnooper that listens for PV name searches from CA clients and can display them and some statistics about them.
It looks like I sent a copy of it to tech-talk back in 2004,
I wonder if Kevin Tsubota ever actually tried it then? It hasn't
changed much since.
