i/o event scan list

We developed a driver for the vme i/o module ADAS ICV196 with interrupt service. We are 
now interested in how to synchronize the process of ai records with an i/o event on one 
bi channel of this module.

We found no way in DCT to attach an ai record to a bi i/o event scan list. The only way
 we found to do this was to specify event scan type for the ai records with an event
 number related to a specific bi channel, and to call post_event() in the interrupt
 service routine.

Could someone propose a better solution ?
