-- FYI --
Motorola has announced the discontinuation of the exact version of
mvme167 boards that we have all been using. This is because of a
change in the packaging of the VMECHIP2. The chip die itself has not
been changed and therefore should not give us any trouble.
This change will be noticeable when viewing the board because things
will be arranged a tad differently. It will also appear different in
the order numbers themselves. Moto changed these order numbers because
they felt that since the board actually looks different and has
(obviously) a different PC board, that it made sense to do so.
The ordering number list that has been given me from our Moto rep shows
that the suffix letter has been changed from 'A' to 'B' in all
references to the mvme167-xxxA part numbers and all mvme187-xxxA
numbers.
There has also been no changes in price of the new boards.
