The DARHT project at LANL (with input from LBL and CEBAF) is currently
writing specifications for a MODBUS+ driver for EPICS.  At the present we
do not plan to incorporate MODBUS capability. We plan to contract out the
development of the driver by a person who has already developed a MODBUS+
driver. Our specifications are different than those for the already
developed driver.

If anyone has an interest in reviewing the specifications, please let me know.
