Check out beaver.chemie.fu-berlin.de:/pub/linux/IEEE488. There is a
rather large package of stuff in that directory that purports to support
the Nat Inst AT-GPIB card on linux. I have not used that package yet.
The code is based on the ESP488 stuff from Nat Inst. Adding support for
the Nat Inst AT-GPIB card under spec on linux is high on my list of things
to do. Not sure whether it will be using the driver in that package or
whether I'll put together something myself from the ESP files.
