The Zeiman/Winans version of the BSP automatically suspends the
debugger daemon on vxWorks versions that we have been using for the
last 3 years.
I have found that the debuggers are not useful for the work I do
because it often involves timing of spin loops and interrupt and thread
syunchronization. Gdb is good for single-threaded apps, not stuff like
this. I have not looked into Tornado, yet. B ut I do not expect
much more from it.
