EPICS ALPHA 3.13 Release (3.12.2.2)

A new EPICS Alpha Release is now ready for user testing.
This release is NOT meant for production systems because
a few major additions are planned before the next official
release.

We DO encourage users to test this release. We especially
want anyone responsible for Application Source/Release Control
system to build and try this release. config rules have
been modified so that App S/R can be simpler.

Janet has placed the relese in the normal password protected
ftp area. You will find a tar image for BASE and for two
extensions: makeExampleApp and makeQuickApp. You should build
these extensions since they will help you understand the
new features. They can be placed in your present extensions area
and built against any epics base release, i.e. they do NOT
depend on the new base release.
