We use the TIP310, Gemini is going to use the 610. I like them since
they are cheap and we don't tie ourselves to a particular CPU as a
carrier - and buying a CPU as an I/O processor (a la Hideos) is a lot
more expensive (but reasonable in some applications because of
offloading the I/O).

The IP we use is the TEWS CANbus interface.

Andrew Johnson has done rather an elegent job of writing an I/P carrier
driver, so the drivers for each I/P are independent of the carriers.
