Revised New EPICS Documentation Web Pages (Pre-Alpha-Release)
-------------------------------------------------------------

I have made some of the updates that were suggested and would
appreciate it if you would all take another look at my pages.

http://www.aps.anl.gov/asd/controls/epics/EpicsDocumentation/WWWPages/EpicsFrames.html

I have spiffed up the non-frames pages, so they should be much
easier to use.

I asked several questions in the first post and received the
following answers:

1) Should APS be the repository for all EPICS documentation?
Answer: No, each site wants to maintain the documentation they
         have written.

6) How many of you are _not_ using a Netscape2.0-compatible
   browser?
Answer: A bunch of you, so a non-frames version of the indexing
        system will be maintained.

I didn't get any response on the following questions, and I do
need them answered.

2) Should the APS EPICS documentation/indexing system be
mirrored? If so, where? Any volunteers? Anybody
   know how to do this?

3) In what format(s) should the EPICS documents be available:
   Hypertext, Postscript, Zipped-Postscript, A4-Postscript?

4) What about old versions of a document... should they be kept
in the list of active documents? Or, should they be moved off
to an 'attic' area? If moved to the attic, would the attic
have to be web-accessible (which involves maintaining two
document structures instead of just one)?

5) Who do I have to tell when I re-arrange the document world
   here on 'www.aps.anl.gov'?

Question number (5) is especially important since I am about to
start implementing this set of pages, which means cleaning out the
whole directory structure. If you have something here or
reference something here, let me know, so I can tell you where it
gets put.

All questions, comments, suggestions welcome.
