We have set up a permanent classroom at Los Alamos and just completed
the first training in that environment. We had two classes - each one
was one week long and had 8 attendees. The second week was much smoother
than the first.
We will offer this training again the week of April 21st - at Los Alamos.
The agenda includes:
Overview
Debugging EPICS Applications
Display Manager (w/practical)
Database (w/practical)
State Notation Language (w/practical)
Adding Channel Access Clients (w/practical)
Capfast - Schematic Database Editor (w/practical)
Adding Driver/Device/Record Support (w/practical)
Installing 3.13
Open session for application discussions
Alarm Handler and Frequency Archiver demonstration/practical as possible
(Flexibility exists to meet the needs of the attendees!!!)
We do need a minimum of 5 people to hold the class. There is a maximum of
8 people. If we are not able to meet the minimum - we will cancel the
class by March 28th. If the class fills up, we will take people on a first come,
first serve basis. The next class after this will be approximately 3 months
from April 21st.
Registration fee is $1200.
Regards,
Bob
