hi all:

I have been pondering about a Perl interface to EPICS.

Recently I have written an interface library whihc allows me
to call any channel access calls.

I am in the process of working out the bugs.

As of now 21 of the 25 ezca channel access library calls are available for
me from Perl5.

I used the xs compiler available with perl to dynamically load
the channel access  library.
