Networks ICS-NET'97 will be in S-Peterburg,
on the base of AIA , Russia, 23 - 26.09.97 !

The history of Internation symposiums (more than 20 years) on Modular
Systems & Networks was starting from CAMAC systems then was linked
with modular micro processor and microcomputer based system & network
(hardware & software) development.. The first one was on the base of
Physical Institute of USSR Academy of Science; the others - on the base
of JINR, Dubna; Kurchatov's IAE; SibIzMir, Irkutsk; CAM-Kischinev,Moldova;
IK., Latvia; INPh , Novosibirsk; JINR, Dubna and joint with Poland
in Warsawa. The 10-th & 11-th symposiums ware devoted to a new
generation modular systems on the base of advansed technologies,
Switches and SCI (the first was in Puskin, S-Peterburg region, the
second - in the center of S-Peterburg). The new DSP-technologies and
single-chip microcomputers open a new possibilities in development
of micromodular RT-systems with Distributed Memory Architecture, wich
should be discussed with other existing problems on the next symposium.
One of the main task of the ICSNET'97 is to dicusse a new system and
network Architectures, based on new technologies; RT-systems; Fieldbuses
and Applications of Modern Modular Systems and Networks for Distributed
Data Acquisition, Data Processing and Control Applications In Science,
Engineeriong and Industry. During the meeting time the presentation of
some companies (Silicon Graphics, Digital, Intel...) and Institutes are
planning at the exibition hall. Among the main problems are Multi-processor
systems, High-speed Networks, Open System Interconnections & Switches for
high-speed data communications, acquisition (reduction, selection and proces-
sing ) and control systems. The Scalable Cogerent Multiprocessor Systems
& Fieldbuses discussions are wellcome !
The abstracts should include a short result and names, affiliation
of all authers of work; e-mails; address and phons. The proposals for
discussion will be high appreciated and invated !!!

The preliminary fee (registration, excursions, information papers, hotel
reservation, abstracts, coffee, new information on standartization and
transport) is ~ 250 doll USA (dependent of the Hotel accomodation).
Exibition place - 250 doll for 1 exponat (1 table/1 person). Full details
information will be sent in second circular to all people who will send
abstracts, request on exibition places or to take part in ICSNET97
as visiters!
Time table limits:
01 may 1997 - abstracts receiving
30 June 1997 - second (last) circular
01 sept 1997 - full papers (after second sercular; RTF-format
WIN WORD preforable! )
The abstract book will be printed before meeting time!
The full papers will be printed in proceedings after symposium
