Epics has support for the Oregon Micro Systems(OMS) VME-8 and -44 and the
VME58-8 and -4E. These are stepper motor controllers that can handle 8
motors with no encoders or 4 motors with encoders.
Look on the APS Beamline Controls Group supported hardware list for more
information....
