Hi,
Janet indicates that this is not a CA disconnect problem based
on the alarm handler display. Nevertheless, I should mention that there
is a paramter that adjust the delay required before the CA client library
decides that an unresponsive connection is disconnected.

If the IOC is so busy that the CA server is starved for CPU for
EPICS_CA_CONN_TMO (default is 30 sec) then the client will
disconnect.
When increasing this parameter, you must of course conclude that
your client can tollarate situations where IOCs are so heavily loaded
that your client looses contact for more than 30 sec.
