Hi all,
after spending a day on it yesterday I guess it is time to ask:
After having changed architecture from hkbaja60 to hkbaja47
and IOC (crate) I ran into the following problems:
- the hkbaja47 is only able to boot (load vxWorks) with one user id.
I can't find any protection problems. It is not dependent on the host it
boots from (at least).
- after getting it to boot, I find that, while everything in the
startup file appears to get executed ok, and checking with dbpr that
the records actually process, my dm screen tells me that all the
channels are disconnected. caRepeater is running, I took all access
restrictions out of the resource.def file (and actually switched to
doing the iocInit without file specification)
- when I run Crosswind it still believes that I have the old hkbaja60
architecture and says it can't read the files.
System details:
Epics 3.13 beta 11, Tornado 1.0.1 (hkbaja47),
Solaris 2.6 (sparc 20 clone)
I don't really need to run Crosswind, I just tried to run it to
possible help me find what the rest of the problems are but instead
found that there was problems with it too.
Does anybody have any ideas what I'm overlooking?
Thanks in advance,
Maren Purves
