You should also see that:
1) the traffic level resulting from this "storm" isn't a large
percentage of the available bandwidth.
2) peak bandwidth consumption immediately backs off to a moderate
level.
If you observe otherwise then please let me know. I do not have a system
of the same magnitude as BESY here on which to perform tests.
A known problem with the server library is that if you have two servers
on the same host then they will both send beacons, and then they will
produce a same host beacon beat pattern which confuses clients into
thinking that there is always a new server on the LAN. I will be
implementing a fix for this.
