The Allen-Bradley 1794-IT8 provides 0.1 resolution in deg C or deg F.
(It also can act as a calibrated pre-amp to any millivolt source.)
Fundamental digitizer provides 16 bits. However, you can trade-off
scan time for resolution: 8 channels scanned at 16 bits takes 2 seconds
down to 9 bits taking 50 milliseconds.
