Subject: interp and mbbi/o-direct

I am using EPICS R3.13.3. The EPICS Record Reference Manual describes
"Multi-Bit Binary Input Direct" and "Multi-Bit Binary Output Direct", which
look like useful records to unbundle a set of bits from a two-byte word. I
can see that these records are in the EPICS base (
/EPICS/R3.13.3/bin/mv2700/mbbiDirectRecord.o, etc.), but there are no
symbols for them in the CapFast library. I fetched the library from the APS
site
(http://www.aps.anl.gov/xfd/SoftDist/Distribution/epics/extensions/UnbuiltTa
rfiles/extensions313_2/edif.tar.gz), but this appears to contain a very old
set of CapFast symbols:

bash:/epics/extensions/src/edif/lib>ls -l (edited for length)
total 297
-rw-r--r-- 1 redman 544 33773 Aug 19 1995 edb.def
-rw-r--r-- 1 redman 544 3858 Aug 16 1995 epics.mnu
-rw-r--r-- 1 redman 544 425984 Aug 19 1995 sym.tar

and, as expected, all the symbols in sym.tar date back to 1995 or earlier.
The same library seems to be present in the "Comprehensive tarfile of
extensions ext313_2.tar.gz released on 03/08/00". Is there a newer set of
CapFast symbols available that contains up-to-date symbols for all the
records in the R3.13 base?

In a related problem, I have attempted to fetch the "interp" record from the
link in the http://www.aps.anl.gov/epics/modules/soft.php site, which points
at ftp://ftp.keck.hawaii.edu/pub/wlupton/interp-2-12.tar.gz. This link no
longer works. The Keck EPICS web site at
http://pipeline.keck.hawaii.edu:3636/realpublic/epics/ does not even list
this record. Is the interp record still supported? Is it available
anywhere?

Cheers,
Russell O. Redman
