Last week Matthias Kirsch stopped by SLAC to show us his 100 MhZ digitizer, similar in funcionality to the Joerger 812, just faster. He indicated that some APS people had looked at it too while he was in Chicago.
For our purposes, this looks as good as the new, promised 100 MhZ Joerger. He noted three advantages:
1) The SIS 3300 is available now (about 6 weeks lead time).
2) The 200 MhZ version (SIS 3301) will be produced soon - with the same
programming interface.
3) It is about $1000 cheaper per module
They have offered to write the Epics driver (for more $$$). Our take is that samples of code which actually work plus help later during the debugging would be more helpful.
Is anyone else seriously considering these modules?

P.S. "Our purposes" means running constantly, but being read out only on a fault. The depth of memory is not important to us, we want only the last 2000 or so data points per channel.
