You could try ReflectionX from WRQ. They have a free 60 day trial version at
http://www.wrq.com/products/evaluate/download/rxchoice.html
I'm using it and havn't noticed any memory problems. Currently I have 2 emacs,
an AR, a pgplot graph, 2 X utilities and 2 xterms open and the process only has
about 2.5 MBytes allocated.
