Hello Ron,

I have a utility which feeds one ao record with the total size of a disk and
another ao record with the total amount of free space of this disk. The size
is updated each 5 seconds.
This utility runs on SOLARIS. Is that what you want?

We need to know when various resources are not available, so that RF
structure processing can be paused. The point of the processing is to
measure fault data, so processing is at best useless when data cannot be
stored.

Some unix process which sets EPICS PVs to values reflecting resource status
would be ideal. Does anyone have such a process or script or something else
which provides this capability?

Thanks in advance.
