It's hard for me to tell, as the application is loading
points from an sql database and that process seems to
take the most time.
I'm plotting ~10,000 data points, and can resize the window
(which requires rescaling and replotting) in about 2 seconds
on a dual-Athlon 1800+ box under linux, with JDK 1.4.2,
if that helps.
I haven't played with plot types - just straight multi-line
plots.
