Our training is targetted toward project engineers with
programming experience. It will give a functional overview
of all of the tools avialable in EPICS and then go into
sessions that are typically a half of a day to cover:

Application Developer's environment

Extensible Display Manager (EDM) - superset of the others

Database - with closed loop example

Sequencer - with 5 state example

Writing a chanel access client - modificaiton of test
codes

Alarm handler / archiver / probe / stripTool

Writing driver/device/record support

A more detailed database example using PID control.

Open for topics of interest/concern
All training will be done on standalone linux boxes,
running EPICS 3.14 client and database on the same
machine.
If anyone else is interested, please let me know.

I think that we will be doing this training in February. I

with SNS.
