Hi Folks,
I've a problem when requesting DBR_CTRL_XXX types with channel access.
If I request a DBR_CTRL_FLOAT and that one of the limit (Upper display,
Lower display, etc...) is 0 then instead of getting 0 and
get -1.17549435E-38.
If I request any other DBR_CTRL_XXX types then I get the correct value.
Is it a bug in the CA convertion routine?
Yes it is a bug.
Amazing. This must have existed since about 1991. It will be fixed in
the next 3.13 and 3.14 releases.
The bug is in db_access.c which converts between old and new database
access.
