I would like to translate some gdct drawings into vdct (mostly synApps
ones). Does anyone have a version of gdct compiled for Linux or Solaris
that I could use?
The real problem is getting a version of Interviews that works - it
seems to have stopped being developed in the days of Sun C++ 2.0. (BTW,
the interviews link on the gdct page at APS is broken).
We have a single solaris box with only gcc (no Sun cc) or a lot of Linux
boxes. I don't really want to start a big porting job, so I was
wondering whether there was help out there.
At least Debian-Linux still has the InterViews-packages in the standard
distributions (at least in "stable" as well as in "testing")
All the packages are named "ivtools-...", so you can find binary as well
as source-packages searching http://www.debian.org/distrib/packages for
"ivtools". The source packages should compile with the current g++ versions.
Hope it helps,
Thomas
