SSCAN/SAVEDATA question

Hi All,

before we upgrade SSCAN record (or SynApps?) let me please ask 2 questions:

We are using SSCAN record version 5.12 together with saveData (synApps 
release 1.4 Jan2004) on EPICS 3.13.2

1) I observed that changing the STEP SIZE (or WIDTH?) to a negative 
value (you know the users do all kind of strange things) lead to the 
crash of the saveData task on the ioc.

2)  When I put as an detector an array-valued PV, also confirmed by 
SSCAN  message window, the saveData saves only zeros. The same happens 
if we specify GET-ARRAYS in the ACQ MODE for the detectors.

I'd be glad at the end to save 2D scans with array-valued PVs which I 
believe would be a perfect solution for the mXAS beamline.
