Aloha
At the Keck observatory we have been using the Allen Bradley SLC 5 PLCs
for 2+ years, in a cryogenic auto-fill system. We are using a slightly
modified AB PLC-5 driver running on Solaris/UNIX. I suspect there may be
some 'glue' code as the original PLC-5 driver was written for vxWorks
and I doubt that it was made OSI compliant (but I could be wrong).
I was not directly involved in that project but I can find the driver
and pass it along, if you want.
Cheers,
Allan

Subject: Honeywell S9000 driver
Hello,
Is there an IOC driver/device developed for the Honeywell S9000 series
PLC? We are looking at migrating our existing Honeywell
Experion/SCAN3000 system to EPICS, but we have about ten of these PLCs
installed. I am also looking for driver support for the Allen Bradley
SLC 5/05E. I have found two Open Source drivers, one being TUXEIP, but
I do not see the SLC 5/05 listed on the supported hardware list. Any
help, info would be greatly appreciated.
