My first take would be a simple subroutine record which does the compares you want and returns success or failure. Make that a genSub record if possible so it can read both waveforms automatically through its input links (the genSub can transfer scalars or arrays through its link fields). Then all you need to do is compare the array elements inside the C subroutine and set VAL to a true/false result. - Andrew -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Vladimir Sirotenko Sent: Monday, December 10, 2007 11:49 AM To: EPICS tech-talk Subject: checking the content of the waveform record -- When a distinguished but elderly scientist states that something is possible, he is almost certainly right. When he states that something is impossible, he is very probably wrong. -- Arthur C. Clarke
