As I mentioned earlier have a look at comedi.org for PCI devices.
On there website you will find a list of supported hardware.
I use mostly measurement computing equipment, but many more vendors are
supported.
For example, I use the DDA0816 which has 8 AO and 48 configurable TTL
outputs. Works great but pricey if you just want to use the TTL outputs.
I also heard that there is a comedi interface for asyn.
I never used it, but you may want to have a look at it
