Hi,
I don't know about the Virtual Linac, but I added the following lines
to the EPICS base file, config/os/CONFIG.darwinCommon.darwinCommon
# X11 and motif paths
MOTIF_LIB = /opt/local/lib
MOTIF_INC = /opt/local/include
X11_LIB = /usr/X11/lib

I needed these lines to build other MOTIF based EPICS applications.

I checked in MacPorts and OpenMotif provides libXm.4.dylib. When
changing the following in the Makefile located in install/App
LIBLIST_Darwin := libXm.3.dylib
to
LIBLIST_Darwin := libXm.4.dylib
I still get an error message.
When commenting out the line the compilation proceeded without any
errors. Running the program I didn't come across any obvious problems.
So my question is: did I do something "illegal"?
