We had run into a problem with this a while back. This seemed to be due
to the font paths not getting set up properly. Our solution was to
rehash the font path before running medm.
xset fp rehash

Hi all,
For some reason, medm has started to segfault if started with
"-displaFont scalable". I suspect that one of those 'security
upgrades' has done something bad. I run Ubuntu (gutsy), epics 3.14.7,
and have the same problem with medm 3.0.3 and 3.1.2.1. Any suggestions?
Pete.
