Quite some time ago I was toying around with writing a Python script that would convert the graphic elements in an EDL file into a suitable Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) file. My efforts did not come to much, partly because the SVG format itself is still somewhat in flux at the moment, partly because I made the unfortunate decision to use a Python library (pysvg) that is still under development, and partly because my code just might not be particularly well-structured.
I am moving on in life and do not expect to be involved in EPICS development again for the foreseeable future, but I thought that my efforts might just warrant sharing. Here is the code, to do with as you may please.
