Hi All,
I have noticed that breakpoint tables in base 3-14-11 require the table name to be all numeric characters. This appears consistent with line 634 in dbStaticRun.c, where the first non numeric character must be '\0'. However, according to page 105 of the 3-14-11 application developers guide, the breakpoint table name can consist of any alpha-numeric characters. So, there seems a problem here. ? For now, I am renaming my breakpoint tables.
Mark,
line 634 of dbStaticRun.c is code that gets executed when you try to set
a (numerical) field of type DBF_MENU or DBF_DEVICE using a string value.
Converting a string to a number does require the string to consist of
only numeric characters, so I think that code is correct.
Which field of your record are you trying to write the breakpoint table
name to?
