Hello,
We are still using some CAMAC at the SLAC LCLS. We recently implemented
EPICS control of our CAMAC, using EPICS IOCs in VME crates. The CAMAC
serial communication is driven with an Acromag Serial I/O PMC card,
containing an FPGA programmed at SLAC.

Subject: Any CAMAC users left?
Our NSTX experiment (unfortunately) continues to use CAMAC. Our MVME-177
and Hytec VSD 2992 hardware has served us well and are ready to be retired
and replaced with new hardware. I'd be interested to hear what people are
using to drive their CAMAC serial highways. I asked a couple of years ago
too, just looking for any updates.
