For any driver/device sopport I have used ao only allows one value.
If there is a string record you can put that together into one
and send it, but the first things to come to my mind are gensub
and asub, each of which you can use as soft records and then
output the string to the device (if there is an asyn string
record which I don't know because I have never used asyn)

I've never used asyn, but is there a string record that you could put both
