Clarification:
The code that is creating the part of the error message that says "Link already open!" is in drvAsynIPPort.c::connectIt.
But the error message itself is being output in StreamDevice.
It appears that StreamDevice is finding the port disconnected, and tries to connect it by calling drvAsynIPPort.c::connectIt (which is pasynCommon->connect()). But when that function is called it finds the port to be already be connected.
Do you have anything running that is automatically trying to connect the port?
Mark
