Hi Amien,

Is there a reason you are using Base 3.15?  Is it required for the BeagleBone?  3.15 is not yet intended for production use, and lots of EPICS modules (including asyn) have not been converted to be compatible with 3.15 yet.  I suggest you use Base 3.14.12.3.

That said, I will fix asyn so it will build with 3.15 as soon a I get a chance.

Subject: ASYN on BeagleBone ARM

Hi

We managed to build a cross-compiled IOC on our BeagleBone that’s running Ubuntu 11.10.
Now we want to compile the BeagleBone as EPICS host.
I got 3.15.0.1 Base installed and everything works (even Base-3.14.12.3 works).
But I cannot get ASYN-4-18 (under syn_Apps_5_6\support) to compile. (Even tried latest ASYN-4-21)
Before I go and make configuration changes etc, I would like to know if ASYN will in fact compile on ARM machines ?
