Hi Garth,
We have been using the (even cheaper?) DS1104B here for around a year or so. We are communicating with it over Ethernet using the Asyn VXI-11 driver and StreamDevice. We obtain one channel as quickly as the unit will provide the waveform (which is around 10-15 times per second from memory) and a second channel every few seconds. I never tried connecting via USB but it should give better results. I also played around a bit with a DS6000. It has very similar communications as the DS1104B but I can't remember how it performed; hopefully better as it is a much more expensive scope.
Damien

Subject: Rigol DS1204B scope support
We have some physicists who are using the really cheap Rigol DS1204B oscilloscope, and are interested in talking to it with EPICS. Has anyone worked with this, or other Rigol scopes?
Thanks,
Garth
