System Automation Staff Contractor Position at NIH
Job description: As part of an exciting program to develop new biomedical imaging technologies, the Imaging Physics Laboratory of the Biophysics of Biochemistry Center, the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute, National Institutes of Health (NIH) is recruiting a full-time staff contractor in the area of system integration and automation. The position involves integrating and programming motor-controlled components and imaging detectors/cameras in the EPICS programming framework. Preferred candidates should have experience in system integration and automation involving the control of precision motors and data acquisition devices (cameras, detectors), be well-versed in EPICS server and client interface programming in Linux and Windows environments, with working-knowledge of precision motor hardware and common cameras. Candidates with Ph.D. or equivalent degrees are preferred.
Location: NIH main campus is located in Bethesda, Maryland.
