Hi Alex,
Does anyone know of a good tool that can be used to generate email
reports of EPICS PVs on a regular basis? I am thinking I'd like to have
a daily summary of our vacuum systems in my email, and perhaps someone
has already built a tool for this?
How about a cron job that runs caget? Or do you need a plot with the
last 24 h of history? In this case I would recommend pulling the data
from an archiver.
I have a cron job that put things out once per day (reset daily
minima and maxima), that's relatively easy to put together.
I was also going to suggest an archiver. If you only want to archive
once per day, that's up to you.
